Joe Davis - “Voice of the Biscuits”
Joe Davis enters his third season as the "Voice of the Biscuits" in 2012. A native of Potterville, Michigan, Joe spends his baseball off-seasons calling college football and basketball for ESPN and Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS). He came to the Biscuits for the 2010 season as the youngest double-A broadcaster in the country after serving as Manager of Broadcasting and Media with the Northern League’s Schaumburg Flyers while still in college.
Davis, 24, has also called the AHSAA football and basketball state championships and the Illinois HS Volleyball state championships on TV, and served as studio host on the Baylor Bears Radio Network. Other broadcast credits include fill-in play-by-play for Auburn, UAB, and Troy athletics. He has also been an occasional fill-in sports anchor at Montgomery's WSFA-TV.
The Potterville, Michigan native played four seasons of football at Beloit College in Wisconsin, serving as team captain during his senior campaign.
