Biscuits, PCI Launch Home Run Reading Program
Biscuits players to make three different library appearances

MONTGOMERY, AL – The Biscuits, in conjunction with PCI Gaming and the Porch Creek Indians, are pleased to announce the launch of the Heritage Home Run Reading Program.

The program will be highlighted by three different library appearances by Biscuits players and Big Mo. Each player will read a baseball-themed book, stressing the importance of education in baseball and beyond. The reading sessions will be followed by a question and answer segment, and finish with an opportunity for the children to receive autographs from the players and Big Mo.

“We know that our players enjoy reaching out into the community like this,” said Biscuits President and General Manager Greg Rauch. “And we’re excited to partner with PCI Gaming and the Porch Creek Indians to promote such an important skill.”

The times and locations for the sessions are as follows:

Tue., June 22nd – Autauga-Prattville Public Library – Doster Community Center 10:00am

Thur., June 24th - Juliet Hampton Morgan Memorial Library – Montgomery 10:30am

Wed., July 7th – E.L. Lowder Branch Library – Montgomery – 10:15am

Any media wishing to accompany the players to the events should coordinate with Biscuits Marketing Assistant Jackie Kampf at jkampf@biscuitsbaseball.com.
