Biscuits Single-Game Tickets on Sale Saturday
MONTGOMERY, AL – The Montgomery Biscuits, Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, will offer single-game tickets for the 2009 season beginning Saturday, March 28th at 10 a.m. Tickets for each of the 70 Biscuits' regular season games will be available for purchase in person at the Riverwalk Stadium Box Office or on-line at BiscuitsBaseball.com.
Fans are invited to join the Biscuits and Big Mo on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. as they celebrate the arrival of the new season with biscuits and Coca-Cola for all fans in attendance.
Lauded throughout minor league baseball for their innovation, the Biscuits are again pleased to offer a variety of new facets to the Biscuits baseball experience in 2009. Highlighted are NEW in-between inning contests, NEW theme nights including Circus Night, Rays Night and Bark in the Park, along with MAX Fireworks Spectaculars following every Saturday home game as well as select Fridays.
"Every season, we go to great lengths to ensure that our fans are being treated to the most diverse and affordable entertainment possible," said Biscuits' President & General Manager Greg Rauch. "It is always exciting when we put single-game tickets on sale because we know fans are about to be able to enjoy all the nuances that we have been working so hard to create for them during the off-season."
The Biscuits also recently rolled out the NEW Biscuits Food Stimulus Plan, featuring a NEW "Kids Eat Free" special on Sundays and NEW Ballpark Value Meals. All kids 12 and under will receive a coupon for a free hot dog and 12 oz. Coca-Cola product as they enter the ballpark on Sundays. Eight different value meals will be available at each game throughout the 2009 season, and will afford fans a $2.00 savings on every meal. Each Value Meal includes an entree, 16 oz. Coca-Cola product and bag of potato chips.
"Between the innovations within our promotional effort, new food options and an exciting period to be affiliated with the Rays' organization, we know 2009 is going to be the best Biscuits season to date," Rauch added. "We can't wait to see everyone on Saturday to get the fun started."

Lawn / General Admission: $7.00
Single-game tickets for the 2009 season will also be available by phone starting on Monday, March 30th at 10 a.m. Fans wishing to order tickets by phone should contact the Biscuits at (334) 323-2255 during business hours of 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
The Biscuits begin their 2009 Southern League schedule on Thursday, April 9th at Riverwalk Stadium against the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx at 7:05 p.m. Opening night 2009 will feature the Biscuits Magnet Schedule Giveaway presented by Knology as well as a post-game MAX Fireworks Spectacular.
