Losing Streak Reaches Record-Tying Six
Early lead quickly erased as Biscuits fall 10-5 to Lookouts
CHATTANOOGA, TN - Brian Cavasos-Galvez homered in back-to-back innings and drove in five to help the Chattanooga Lookouts (77-62) hand the Biscuits (65-74) their sixth-straight defeat, 10-5, Sunday at AT&T Field.
The six-straight losses ties a franchise-record.
With the Lookouts leading only 4-3 in the sixth, Cavasos-Galvez ripped a three-run shot to key a four-run frame. He'd crank a two-run job off Sergio Espinosa one inning later.
The Biscuits had a short-lived lead, getting a pair of runs in the first inning. But Chattanooga responded quickly with two in the bottom of the inning and single runs in the second and fourth before Cavasos-Galvez took over.
Biscuits starter Alex Colome (3-4) suffered the defeat, allowing four runs over five innings. Ethan Martin (5-3) went five innings as well, collecting the win.
Shawn O'Malley and Henry Wrigley (above) both had three hits for the Biscuits, and Wrigley reached a career-high by collecting RBIs 84 and 85 on the season.
LHP Frank De Los Santos will face RHP Allen Webster in the season's final game, Monday at 1:15.
