Season Ends with 11-4 Defeat in Game Four
BayBears rip Biscuits to move into SLCS

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Biscuits' season came to an end with an 11-4 loss to the Mobile BayBears in game four of the South Division Championship Series Sunday afternoon at Riverwalk.

With the Biscuits leading 4-3 in the fifth inning, Jon Griffin hit a two-run home run to put Mobile in front 5-4. The BayBears would go on to score the final eight runs of the game.

The Biscuits took their first lead with a two-run triple from Mark Thomas in the second inning to break a 1-1 tie. After the BayBears tied the game at three in the top of the fourth, Kevin Kiermaier ripped a two-out, RBI-double to give the Biscuits a 4-3 lead in the home-half of the fourth.

Michael Bolsinger (1-0) allowed four runs in 5.2 innings for the win. Merrill Kelly (0-1) allowed six runs on nine hits through 4.2 innings for the loss.

The BayBears will go on to play the Jackson Generals for theSouthern League Championship starting on Tuesday.
