Walks, 2-Out Hits Doom Biscuits

4 Lobstein walks in first 2 innings leads to 2 Jackon runs in 2-1 defeat

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson Generals (49-33) took advantage of four walks over the game's first two innings to score twice and beat the Biscuits (43-37) 2-1 Monday night at Pringles Park.

Kyle Lobstein (3-4) walked two in the first and two in the second, leading to a run in each frame. Jesus Sucre brought home the first run with a two-out double, and Stefen Romero made it 2-0 in the second with a two-out single. Lobstein lasted six innings, allowing only two base runners after the second

The Biscuits lone run of the night came on a Hak-Ju Lee fielder's-choice groundout in the fifth. The Biscuits had the bases loaded with nobody out in that fifth inning, and managed just the one run.

Forrest Snow (1-2) went six innings to get the win for the Generals. Mauricio Robles fired 1.2 innings of perfect relief before Carter Capps (13) got the game's final four outs to nail down the save.

Mike Sheridan (above) was the only Biscuit with multiple hits, going 2-4.

The Biscuits and Generals will wrap up the series Tuesday at 7:05 with RHP Jake Thompson facing RHP James Paxton.
