IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Thank you for participating in Grand Slam School Day at Riverwalk Stadium. Below you will find everything you and your students will need to have a great time! Please take a moment to read over this information. We want to help make the most of your event; if you have additional questions please call your sales representative for further assistance
- Inclement Weather Procedures - in the event of inclement weather a final decision for play will be made by 7:00 a.m. on the day of your game. Please call 323-2255 for updates which will be heard during the voice-mail’s opening greeting or check the Biscuits website. Your group representative will also attempt to reach you personally in the event of bad weather.
- Tickets – Your tickets will be mailed. Please note that you will receive two complimentary tickets per school for registered teachers courtesy of the Montgomery Biscuits. These tickets are in recognition of all the work teachers do and is one way of giving a few of you a break and allow us to say "THANKS!"
- Montgomery Biscuits Educator’s Reception – Complimentary refreshments will be provided for a maximum of two pre-selected special guests from each school, as registered on the online or faxable form. The reception will take place in the Owner’s Suite from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm and the vouchers will be enclosed in your ticket packet (you must be registered and present a voucher to enter the reception). This benefit is a special way that the Montgomery Biscuits show appreciation to your selected teachers or chaperones.
- Bus Parking – You will be mailed a packet with all the information you will need on parking. Please read this thoroughly and make sure you have communicated to the bus drivers before arriving to the stadium! Tickets for the bus drivers will be available with the shuttle driver. More info >>
- Gates Open – Gates open at 9:30 a.m. Students and faculty will be admitted at that time.
- Junior Press – If you have students participating in the Junior Press Program, they must be at the stadium between 9:30 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. to check in. Students should check in at Guest Services, which is located right inside the main gates of the stadium. The press conference will start promptly at 9:45 and cannot be delayed due to player involvement.
- Autograph Area – The Montgomery Advertiser Autograph Area will be open from 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Anyone wishing to have an item autographed can enter the area from the steps between sections 101 and 102 on the third base side. The autograph area is open to the public and we ask each child to limit autographs to one per person, per player
- Group Announcement – We’re excited to tell everyone your joining us for Grand Slam School Day. Your school’s name will be read in alphabetical order during the game. Don’t forget to watch the scoreboard during the 2nd or 3rd innings to see your name in lights!
Once payment is received you wil be receiving a confirmation email which will include an informational form for you to fill out regarding your school’s bus arrival/departure times, Junior Press participants, group recognition and teachers/administrators joining the Educator’s Reception.
