Military Wednesday | Military Appreciation Night | Maxwell Air Force Base
The Montgomery Biscuits have always taken pride in the local military community, and we strive to give back to the men and women who give us so much every day. Throughout the Biscuits season, we host special nights that celebrate our military wholesomely and wholeheartedly. These nights are meant to thank those who serve and have served our country, and they are also meant as a fun and entertaining place to spend a little time off. So why not spend a night with the Biscuits?
What is Military Wednesday?
This program is every Wednesday home game that the Biscuits play at Riverwalk Stadium. These nights are meant to recognize Military personnel – active and retired – from all branches and all bases. It was created in cooperation with the General and Base Commander of Maxwell Air Force Base. It was established to give Military personnel who are going through training and/or school at Maxwell AFB an outlet for entertainment in Montgomery outside of the bases.

What are the features of Military Wednesdays?
All individuals with a valid base pass, active duty Military ID or retired Military ID are encouraged to purchase tickets and receive special coupons for discounted beer, soda and hot dogs at the ITT office on Maxwell AFB. Tickets may also be purchased online or at the Biscuits Box Office downtown.
Using Military coupons on Military Wednesdays will get and save you:
- $2.00 14 oz Beers - a savings of $2.50
- $2.00 22 oz Sodas - a savings of $1.75
- $2.00 Hot Dogs - a savings of $1.75
We ONLY serve alcohol to those 21 years of age and older with valid ID; two beers sold per visit per customer with corresponding coupons. Must have a coupon for every item purchased to receive this discount.

Where to purchase Military Wednesday tickets?
Single Game Tickets – Military personnel are encouraged to buy tickets at the ITT office on Maxwell AFB or online here, and receive a set of Military food coupons with each ticket purchased.
Tickets will also be available at the Biscuits box office. If purchasing tickets at the Biscuits box office, coupons will be distributed at the guest service booth on the concourse directly behind home plate upon your arrival and entry into the game. Military personnel will be charged a .50 surcharge for these coupons. The .50 surcharges accrued throughout the season will go directly back to the ITT office at the end of the season.
When purchasing Military Wednesday tickets or using coupons at the concessions in Riverwalk Stadium, please have your Military ID present. Acceptable IDs include: valid base pass, active duty Military ID or retired Military ID.

Groups (20 or more) – If you are looking for a fun, easy, affordable group outing for 20 or more, a Biscuits game is the way to go! The Biscuits can accommodate groups from 20 to 3,500! Group benefits include:
- Everyone sits together!
- No waiting in ticket lines wondering about ticket availability.
- Group recognition on the scoreboard with a special PA announcement.
- Free online photo keepsake of your group in the seating bowl.
- A group raffle where one person in your group will win a special prize.
- Dining options available for groups of all sizes.

What is Military Appreciation Night?
Military Appreciation Night is a special night designed to highlight members of the military and thank those serving and retired for protecting our country. Special activities make the day like no other. Much like Military Wednesdays, this night is fun for local members of our Military and Military families to gather together outside of the base.
What are the features of Military Appreciation Night?
Military Appreciation Night is always packed with fun and excitement, but it’s always loaded with special military recognition ceremonies and recruitment. Some aspects include:
- Pre-game on-field ceremonies, including an enlistment ceremony, honorary first pitches, and a fly-over.
- In-game military promotions and entertainment, such as the t-shirt cannon.
- Recruiter booths set up all over stadium with information and activities.
- Post-game special “thank you” to all branches of the military.
- To end the special night, a MAX Fireworks Spectacular show!
